When the Rain Comes

Rainfall has been quite heavy lately in Jakarta and I got to say that it is my first time seeing the real floods. It was like, oh man, crazy! My residence area is known as one of the areas that get flooded easily when rainy season comes. The last time we have flood, it was as high as 40cm. So yeah, there were times when I stucked at home and couldn't go to work until the flood is receding. Luckily I already found an alternative road to reach the office so I don't have to worry about it anymore.

Persunmall Wishlist

Do you guys celebrate Lunar New Year? Well, although I don't, it seems like I've been influenced by the euphoria a bit. I mean, it's such a perfect day to wear all red! And that's why I put these babies from Persunmall on my current wish list.

This mid-length dress is totally perfect for the LNY. Well, basically because it's red and also has a pretty simple cutting so that you can pair it with almost everything you have in your wardrobe. Just see this picture below for example. You can pair it with a sweater, a jacket, or even just let it be with its own magnificent simplicity. And oh, don't forget to put on your prettiest necklace to make it even more stunning!

I Want To Ride My Bicycle

Have you ever been to Kota Tua before? Kota Tua is an area in Jakarta, also known as Old Jakarta/Old Batavia (you can ask Mr. Google for more info about it :p), which is always visited by tons of people having recreation on weekend (it was so crowded there!). I spent my last weekend riding bicycle there with my besties and it was entirely fun! The last time I rode a bicycle is when I was in junior high school, it's been like ten years, so you can imagine how clumsy I was at first. Almost crashed on some people, but then after several pedals I started to be able to control myself and the bike. And that feeling of achievement.. it was so tremendous that I feel so proud of myself. I even almost shed tears.. *ok, now I'm being exaggerating*

Bloggers Meet Up

Strawberry Milkshake

Last Saturday was super fun because I got a chance to hang out with these cool people a.k.a my blogger fellas around South Jakarta. We met up at a mall first and then headed to another place for the karaoke session. And you know what, everybody was going insane there! Turned out Anissa was a good rapper and Bertha's favorite song is Oplosan (Yes, that song. If you know what I mean). Not to mention that Lulut and Arin was so vivacious when they did the duet. Hahaha. I love those freaks.

I got a sudden interest on strawberries at the moment so I dressed up in pink and red, which I hoped would make me look like a glass of strawberry milkshake (Tell me I didn't fail!). And since I knew hanging out with these people would make me going cray, I decided to wear a pair of pants instead of skirt. Oh well, ok. It's not fully because of them but also because it's currently my favorite pants!!

OOTDINDO 1st Gathering

I know it's super late to write a post about this but well, as people always say : better late than never.

So here we are, some fashion freaks who finally meet each other at an event called OOTDINDO Gathering on December last year. OOTDINDO is a community for street fashion lover in Indonesia. They have an Instagram account that currently become one of the most followed accounts for local fashion lover (at least that's what I see). So you can imagine how excited I was to see my fellas, right? Too bad my camera was still in Medan back then so I couldn't take my own pictures. But thanks to my super-sweet-and-oh-so-awesome-buddy, Sartob, because she kindly sent me these pictures so that I can share it all with you! ;)

I Found You

It's not Christmas anymore but hey, I took this picture on December so that still counts. Was so excited about this giant Christmas tree once me and my friends saw it at Grand Indonesia. It's so huge and... just HUGE!! And I love all the colourful balls hanging there as the ornaments. What a perfect background, don't you agree? And with all those lights, I wonder what it will look like at night :)

Anyway, I went to Pasar Senen (a local thrift market) for the first time about two or three weeks ago. Didn't expect to find anything good because there are not much options for the clothes. They didn't even sell shoes! But then I stopped at a shop that was selling bunch of outerwears and browsed at them. I was surprised that I ended up buying 5 pieces of jackets and blazers including this one I wore in this post. That's such a great hunt! I've never bought more than 2 pieces of outerwears in one thrift shop, seriously! And as for the next week, you can guess what I've been wearing to office currently. Yes, those outwears. Wore them over and over and over. Hahaha.
