Another Hello

Just a couple of pictures I took with my college fellas a few days ago. We watched Taken 2 and after that,we took a stroll around Hermes and did some stupid-crazy-tacky shots. I don't feel like sharing the whole pictures to you because it'll definitely drop off my self-esteem,hahaha.

Self-timer

It's always raining almost everyday here in Medan lately. I couldn't even take pictures outside and it really pissed me off. At last I could only do it at home,with self-timer. *sigh*

About this outfit,as you all can guess,it's all thrifted. Except for the bag,it's a gift from my sister. Cambridge satchel look-a-like,huh? Yesyesyes. I know it's the fake one but I still love it!

Mom wasn't at home when I did these shots so I dared myself to wear my red lipstick. Well,she doesn't like me in red lips. She said I look too old. But what can I do? I just love ME in red lips! I also bought one in fuschia yesterday because I found myself so much into bright/bold lips lately. So yeah,gonna put it on my lips tommorrow when I go to uni!

Anyway I'm soooo much in love with US's song,Make You Love Me,covered by the lovely siblings Gamal,Audrey,and Georgina Tapiheru. For Indonesians,I bet you all already knew them. Check more of their awesome covers here!

Holy days

Hong Kong Trip - Day 4

Oh,hi there! Today I'm gonna share some pictures from my last trip to Hong Kong. Time flies so fast. Too fast,in fact. I went to HK on August and now it's already October! -_______-

Ok so we went shopping (as usual) in the morning until we get all we want! Oh well,in my case,it's actually until I spent all of HK dollars I have. Hahaha. We went to Langham Place first. After that,we went back to Prince Edward Market which is the first shopping place we visited on our first day in HK. And I must say it's already become my very very favorite place to shop and I do recommend it!

Since we were so curious about the vintage market that my friend told me to go to,we decided to look for it at Google Maps. So glad finally we found it at Prince Edward Market area. The place called Mee&Gee. There're soooo many vintage sweaters and cardigans and it drives me crazy! I love them all,I really want to take them all! But my wallet said I only can take two pieces so yeah,with the help of kak Githa I finally can make a decision.

It feels uncomplete if we don't go to Madame Tussauds when we're in HK,so here we are! I was so excited to meet those "real" artists even in their wax sculpture form. And that's why I dressed up in pink!

I looove kak Githa's sweater so much! It's from H&M by the way :)

I didn't take many pictures of me with these stars. Silly me,I only brought a camera with fix lens on it. The problem is,we cannot do the "zoom in,zoom out" thing with that lens and it's gonna be so difficult to take pictures in such small and crowded place like this. So sorry for another stupidity I've done. *sigh*

That's the end of my HK trip post series. Gah! I can't believe it's already ended. It's surely the most fun and memorable experience I have so far. It's fun because I can shop A LOT. It's memorable because I finally made myself travel overseas for the first time,with kak Githa Moran the Fashion Editor of Gogirl! Magazine. I've been admiring her works since the first time I read Gogirl! Magazine and having a chance to know her in person is so unbelieveable. I mean,it's amazing! I feel so blessed and I can't wait to have another memorable experiences with the inspiring people in the future. Now tell me,what's your memorable experience so far? :D

Feeling Maroon

I found this skirt at my mom's closet a few weeks ago and I fell in love with it immediately. I mean,it has the perfect length and it is also in maroon. MAROON. And I'm talking about fall. We don't have fall season here,I know,but honestly I'm currently so much into fall and I can't wait to fill my closet with sweaters,jackets/coats,long skirt,tights and boots especially the ones in these colours : maroon,navy and mustard and wear them soon! Well,I'm still into bright colours too as well :)

I've always loved the idea of wearing a long/mid length skirt with tights/socks. The first time I wore this kind of combo is last year,to church,and my mom said I looked like a granny. I know it's weird but I like being called as a granny,haha. Most grannies always wears long skirt,oversized jumper/cardi and quirky patterned shirt and that's just what I love. That also explains why most of the stuffs I usually wear is thrifted. I love going to thrift stores (secondhand market) just to find those amazing pieces because stuffs from the past are always unique and surprising. It's also pretty challenging to shop there. I always feel like a hunter everytime I go to that place. And I like it so much! What about you? Do you like thrifting too?

Best girls and fun colours

Last Saturday I managed to hang out with my best girls. We did a little chit chat and for the first time we went to 061Bistro. It's a new thing for us. Well,actually that was my second time,hehe. My first time was with Cellia and Suzanne. Yes,we went there after shooting at Tjong A Fie Mansion as seen in this post. It's located not too far Tjong A Fie Mansion. You just need to cross over the street first and then walk a little further.

I finally started to wear heels again after months. I'm not a big fan of heels,basically because I cannot walk correctly in it. I even fell down when I wear my Mary Jane heels last year and ripped my tights. Hahaha.

Anyway,I found myself love to mix different colours together in one outfit lately and that's why I looked like this in here. Red and yellow are definitely my current favourites! Well,I love green too :D I also put on this oversized denim jacket to tune out the girly look a bit and change it into more playful look. What do you think? :)
